Remember Phone Numbers with Phone Mnemonics
Phone mnemonics are the text generated from phone numbers in order to derive words from them. On every phone keypad, each digit has certain alphabets assigned to it. For example, 5 has JKL, 6 is accompanied by MNO and so on. This system involves many to one mapping which allows one to form unique phone mnemonic, thus making it much easier to memorize. Phone mnemonics involves finding all possible words that can be formed using the digits of the phone number. A number of software and programs are also available which perform the function of finding all possible matches and then looking for recognizable words amongst them. Many of us tend to remember images much more easily in comparison to numbers. Many businesses also lose business due to the fact that people do not remember their phone numbers, and are too busy to look them in directories. Thus, it is important to find a way to make it easier to memorize and remember phone numbers. The solution to this is phone mnemonics. The alphabets which are present on the phone's keypad transform an easily forgettable number into a memorable and hard to forget word. This is what is known as phone mnemonics. Few examples of such numbers are 1-800-FREE-TIME, 1-800-MARKET etc.
