The amusing thing is it's entirely feasible for a GMS student to memorize 52 cards in 100 seconds (with practice). But as he says in the article the international record is 29 seconds, which is a bit more challenging.

The world record actually stands at 21.9 seconds right now - quite amazing. However don't be fooled that they have created 52 links in 21.9 seconds, in actuality most of the top competitors have figurative codes that consist of 2 cards at a time so that they have to make only 26 links.
 
I'm sure that everyone who has completed the Pmemory course is able to beat 1 minute and 55 seconds for 52 cards with some practise.
