Hello all,

My main concern if I decide to join this course is "time".  I'm currently juggling full time college courses and a job that requires just as much studying.  I can devote 2 hours a week at minimum for this, is that realistic and doable?

Also, what type of results can I expect with in the next couple of months? My memory is awful, I often forget what people ask of me, details mostly. For example, if you told me a story that took place in Boston MA, I may get the gist of the story but I will immediately forget details such as, Boston Ma.

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

I completely understand your concerns. I had the same ones. I am a mother of 4 young children and a full time student in osteopathy. I started the course just before my finals because I could not find the time to study. I had to do something. After the first 7 lessons my memory and the memory techniques I was using improved so much that even with the time put in pmemory I got very good grades and I studied less!

So I encourage you to start and do whatever you can...as you go you will see the beneficial effect of starting the lessons. It is hard work but I am glad I started and worked hard. In the end, I was less studying.

It is like training for a marathon. At first it is hard to even run to the end of the street but as you get fit you can easily run to catch your morning train so you have more time...everything will seem easier and done faster.

I hope it helps,
Pascale

Hi,

If time is going to be an issue even in the foreseeable future then you have to plan differently.
You are claiming time is the issue.  So lets make time our friend.

You only work on the course say daily for 1 hour only.  Whatever you can do in that hour you do and then don't come back to it.  Finish the 1st and the 2nd course and you'll have a resonably good footing.  Now your memory capacity is probably not going to develop to a point where you could remember tonnes of information but you'll develop the skill to atleast focus intensely for one hour.  This should start to transform your life in itself.

Once you have finished the second course you can choose what you want next.  You'll know what to do after the second course is finished.  You'll have a sold understanding of GMS.  You could chose to take it easy and focus on exam from that point onwards or continue your push forward.  I suspect your studying time to decrease rapidly due to your ability to remember a lot of information after the second course.  This will open up more time slots of Pmemory.

If one hour is too much try half an hour but stick to that shedule.  You might have to give up some tv.  As an example I started waking up at 4am to work on memory for a few hours before going to work.  At the start one lesson was taking me 4+ hours!  Waking up early allowed me so much more time to be productive as compared to working in the evening when the brain is already tired.

It is doable.  Are you willing to sacrifice some fun time to improve you life or would you rather dream about it till eternity?  You choose.

Ruslan somewhere in the old posts and mentioned this one hours studying plan in the good old days.

I wish you all the best.

Gringo
