Can I skip the foreign language course or can I just purchase the Text Memorization Course? I am interested in books memorization.

I was wondering, what's the difference between the book and the course? I mean, the book is VERY detailed. There is not only theory explained, but also the techniques. Is there something in the actual course not explained in the book, excluding (of course) the exercises?

The book is pointless without learning the skill. Remember above about the “How to Dance” book? Even if you read all of it and understand everything completely, you will not have learned to dance well :) Meanwhile, if you memorize an entire book using GMS, the results will be different: You will know exactly what to do and when, but you still will need to master the moves - and that takes time and effort. GMS is a system. It is not about techniques where some of them are very well known. Our school will be like your coach. Anyone can buy a book "How to Become Mister Olympia" but you need a coach, a trainer in order to become a professional. Using our course, you will practice every move and technique through special exercises... and, yes, some of the techniques are not in the book. For example: speed table memorization, memorization of texts or songs word-for-word (even in a foreign language), formulas memorization, and so on. Our beneficial psycho-technical exercises are not in the manual either.

Does your memory training involve mnemonics, associations, and phonetics? I tried this before with a book by Harry Loraine and Kevin Trudeau's program which were similar, but can't seem to follow through. I find it boring and confusing...

You can forget about those books or CD's – they are all useless! The results you get are extremely low. In fact, most often you see are no results at all. Would you buy a book like “Great Muscles in 5 Hours” or “Amazing Dancer in a Month”? Can you learn how to dance using a book only? You need to have a memorization SKILL!

We do use mnemo-technical methods of memorization, but Phenomenal Memory is not about techniques. When you have a memorization skill (Phenomenal Memory), you don't think about techniques of any kind - you don't worry about the memorization process at all - everything occurs as naturally as breathing.

Mnemonic techniques are just a small part of the knowledge necessary to actually be able to memorize efficiently. To be able to memorize any data quickly and efficiently, one needs to undergo a specialized TRAINING - much like we were all trained to read and write.

I have a question regarding the quantity of information possible to memorize. The GMS seems based on support images and similar concepts, and the concept of memorizing is frequently compared to a hard disk. Does that mean that I will be forced at some point to erase some previously memorized information, because I will run out of "memorizing space" (that is, support images/locations/whatever)?

NO! Memorization space is limitless! There is no reason to delete anything. There is another skill to master – create memorization space when you need it and in any amount.

Is your Giordano Memorization System based on Giordano Bruno's work?
