Prior to 1990 most books on memory training described low efficiency methods and contained plenty of methodical mistakes.
GMS® is the first memorizing system which has theoretical substantiation, its own set of concepts, a unified set of techniques for memorizing, and a system of rating the skills developed during the training.
Presence of a theoretical basis allows us to analyze the methods of memorizing with respect to their efficiency. In GMS® we have changed certain psychological concepts. For instance, such notion as "short term memory" has been excluded.

4. GMS® contains no inefficient methods of memorizing.
5. Within its' basic methods GMS® employs many principally NEW TECHNIQUES that have never been described in any printed material before. For example, the technique of creating an association with separation of the base from the elements.
6. GMS® utilizes multilevel systems of base images that are easily created from any random objects and can be built up with no limitations for the purpose of memorizing data.
8. GMS®is not a rewritten compilation of books about mnemonics or memorization techniques. It is an entirely new system that contains more than one hundred new concepts, which harmoniously include previously known memorizing methods.
The "Giordano Memorizing System®" course - consists of five different but interconnected courses and exercises which provide a gradual increase of volume and complexity of the memorization materials.
